Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account on Seed, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Seed.

2. What Seed is

Seed is a marketplace and commodity-exchange platform that connects farmers, buyers, traders, and suppliers across Africa. Seed helps users list products, post buy requests, and message each other to arrange a deal.

Seed offers an in-app wallet: buyers can fund their wallet and send payment to a seller through the app, where it's held until the buyer confirms they received the goods (or a dispute is resolved). Seed deducts a commission from released payments. Outside of that wallet flow, delivery and the underlying sale itself remain arranged directly between users, off-platform. We don't guarantee the accuracy of any listing, the identity or reliability of any user, or the outcome of any transaction.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
• You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity on your account.
• You must be legally able to enter into agreements to use Seed for business purposes.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post (listings, photos, messages, community posts), but you give us the right to store, display, and distribute it within the app so the service can work. You're responsible for making sure your content is accurate, legal, and doesn't infringe anyone else's rights.

5. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings or buy requests.
• Harass, deceive, or scam other users.
• List anything illegal to sell or trade.
• Attempt to bypass, disrupt, or abuse the platform (scraping, automated abuse, circumventing rate limits or account restrictions).

We may suspend or remove accounts and content that break these rules, using the review process built into the app.

6. Verification badges

"Verified" and "Premium Verified" badges reflect that we reviewed a verification request — they are not a guarantee of a user's reliability, honesty, or the quality of their goods.

7. No warranty; limitation of liability

Seed is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, Bia'net Tech isn't liable for losses arising from transactions between users, inaccurate listings, service interruptions, or third-party services (AI diagnosis, market data, weather, payment processing) that Seed relies on.

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Privacy & Data, unless it has wallet payment history we're required to keep a record of — see our Privacy Policy for details. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use of Seed after a change means you accept the update.
